Q. When will I be able to purchase tickets?

The online ticket purchase period is scheduled to take place from Monday, April 24th at 3:00 PM until Wednesday, June 28th at 11:00 AM.

Q. Will I be unable to attend if I do not purchase tickets online?

Attending the conference is still possible even if you don't purchase tickets online.

However, we recommend purchasing tickets during the designated online ticketing site to take advantage of the discounted ticket price. If you choose to purchase tickets on-site, you may not be able to receive the discounted rate.

Q. Will lunch be provided?

Unfortunately, lunch will not be provided during the conference.

However, we have organized a networking reception on the evening of Thursday, June 29th, which we hope you'll attend.

We recommend grabbing a bite to eat beforehand so that you can make the most of the networking opportunities available.

Q. Will the conference sessions be broadcast online?

Unfortunately, the conference sessions will not be available for online broadcast as SMW: METACON 2023 is an in-person event.

Q. Will presentations be provided?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide the presentations as they are the personal data of the speakers and are subject to copyright usage and agreements.

Q. Is the Metacon Networking Reception open to everyone?

The Metacon Networking Reception is open to all paid participants who have purchased a VIP PASS or METACON PASS.

However, please note that while STUDENT PASS holders, conference invitees, and startup applicants are allowed to attend the METACON conference, they are unfortunately restricted from attending the networking reception.

Q. I want to modify my information registered when purchasing a ticket, what should I do?

Q. Are there any benefits to purchasing tickets in a group?

Group purchases can be a great way to save money on the overall cost of attendance.

If you purchase five or more tickets, please contact the register secretariat.

If you're attending with colleagues, friends, or family members, be sure to take advantage of this special offer.

Q. What are the benefits for student attendees?

Current students, including those pursuing a Ph.D., are eligible for discounted tickets. Please note that STUDENT PASS holders will not be able to attend the networking reception.

To receive the student discount, proof of current enrollment must be presented when picking up your ticket on the day of the conference.

Q. Will I be issued confirmation of attendance for students?

We're happy to provide a confirmation of attendance upon request.

Please note that these confirmations will be issued in batches after the event and will only include the information of the individual registered at the time of ticket purchase, including their full name and school affiliation.
