In accordance with Articles 15, 17, 22, 29, and 31 of the Personal Information Protection Act and Article 33 of the Credit Information Use and Protection Act, I hereby consent to the collection and use of my personal (credit) information by the Seoul Meta Week Organizing Secretariat as described below.

Details on the Collection and Use of Personal (Credit) Information
The Seoul Meta Week Organizing Secretariat places great importance on the protection of personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. We do not use collected personal information for purposes other than those stated below or provide it to third parties without the user’s consent.

• Purpose of collection: Identification for service usage, information management related to registration, and delivery of forum-related information and communications

• Retention and Use Period of Personal Information and Disposal
• Collected personal information will be retained and used from the date of registration.

- Up to three years after the event ends

• When personal information is disposed, it is deleted using methods that make restoration impossible, as outlined below.

- For documents, printouts, and other physical media: shredded or incinerated
- For electronic files: permanently deleted using irreversible methods

• Provision of Personal Information
• To facilitate the delivery of event-related information and registration services, Seoul Meta Week entrusts certain personal information processing tasks as follows. In compliance with applicable laws, appropriate measures are taken to ensure the secure management of personal information in entrustment agreements. The capability of entrusted companies to protect personal information is evaluated, and regular inspections are conducted to confirm the fulfillment of their obligations regarding data security and destruction.

- Webjium Communication: Website/online program management, server operation and management that stores personal information, registration data

• Rights and Responsibilities of Data Subjects
• Data subjects may access or correct their personal information at any time, and may withdraw their consent to the provision of personal information or opt-out of notifications.
• At the same time, individuals are responsible for protecting their personal information. The organizing secretariat is not responsible for any problems resulting from user negligence (e.g., leaving while logged in, transferring or lending access credentials), hacking using unpreventable methods or technologies despite reasonable precautions, etc.
• Individuals are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date personal information, and any issues arising from inaccurate data input are the responsibility of the data subject.

• Secure Management of Personal Information
• The Seoul Meta Week Organizing Secretariat implements the following technical and administrative safeguards to prevent loss, theft, leakage, alteration, or damage of personal information.

- All personal information is stored and managed in fully encrypted form.
- The number of personnel with access to personal information is minimized, and continuous training is provided to emphasize the importance of data protection.
